Another absolute scorcher of a day in Johannesburg, the mercury threatening to burst the tube and boil everyone alive, and to make matters even worse, tomorrow is going to be even hotter. With temperatures hitting 38.5 degrees today, I’m not really sure how it could get much hotter.
To make myself feel better, I’m posting a picture of our trip to the wine lands close to Wellington. I have very rarely had more beautiful days in my life, the weather was perfect, the wine delicious and the company spectacular.
There really is something about the light in New Zealand that makes everything absolutely crystal clear and vibrant. This photo is of a house on a wine farm with beautiful lavender growing everywhere, little country lanes and just a completely picturesque feeling.
Right now I’m going to try and not catch fire, by moving as little as possible.
